Happiness

Yesterday, one of my sons asked me why I’m always happy.  At first, I wasn’t sure how to answer.  Upon further thought, I realized it’s because I choose to be happy.  You can’t help what happens to you, but you can choose how to respond.  When something happens that is not good, take a deep breath, center your energy and try to smile.  Remember that the way others act is a reflection on them; the way you act (or react) is a reflection on you.

Since I started following the SYOLifestyle, I have found that it is easier to be happy.  My body has the nutrients that it needs, and regular exercise helps keep my mood balanced.  Getting enough sleep is also important for maintaining happiness.

Doing what you love will also make you happy.

Here’s to your health!
